Ghostwriting

Grand Rapids Christian Schools

I wrote monthly e-magazine introductions for the superintendent of schools at Grand Rapids Christian Schools.

Dear Parents,

There is a heightened sense of anticipation at Grand Rapids Christian Schools as preparations for becoming a consolidated school community successfully progress. In December approval was given to purchase the Iroquois School property; the current Strategic Plan is advancing through departmental changes; Spiritual Life Department objectives are firmly in place with strong efforts already supporting our students’ spiritual journeys; interest in our preschool and kindergarten programs is on the increase; and we have expanded our financial aid program in our ongoing commitment to make Christian education available to more families of more income levels. This issue of eConnections contains information on these developments and many other points of pride for Grand Rapids Christian Schools. I think you will enjoy the read.

Our mission to equip students to be effective servants of Christ continues to guide our work as we build and look toward a bright future together. The effort to maintain, through consolidation, an environment where each child can continue to learn about, realize, and make known the power of Christ’s love and presence in their life unites us in gratitude, humility and purpose.

Grand Rapids Christian Schools is going in a forward direction, entering into the hope of God’s plan and design for what He desires us to be. Please join the Board of Trustees, thousands of parents and grandparents within our school family, and me in this exciting season at Grand Rapids Christian Schools.

In His service,

Tom DeJonge, Superintendent
Grand Rapids Christian Schools

Ignite Magazine - Pastor J.R. Pittman

Ignite Magazine is a ministerial publication still in its inception and has not yet been published.

Our vision at Ignite Magazine (IM) is to purposefully equip leaders and parents, igniting a fresh fire for Jesus Christ in the lives of youth and young adults…..everywhere.

Our mission is to produce an excellent, relevant, quarterly resource to be used by parents, caregivers, and youth leaders as they mentor and disciple multicultural metropolitan youth and young adults. We will always strive to provide a tool for forging, shaping and sharpening a Biblical Christian worldview in relationship to the various spheres of youth culture.

We believe casting such a vision and working toward our mission is going to ignite an inferno for Jesus Christ in the lives of an entire generation.

Each quarterly issue of IM will be filled with compelling articles written by youth ministry experts as they pertain to the seven spheres of youth culture:

- The World of Sports & Health                            - The World of Relationships & Sex

- The World of Media & Music                              - The World of Arts

- The World of Education                                     - The World of Social Justice

- The World of Religion

IM will inform parents and caregivers about current cultural issues that hinder the faith of youth, and empower them to address the issues. We’ll similarly equip and encourage youth leaders as they engage with and disciple youth and young adults. We’re going to spiritually excite, shape, and challenge the minds, wills, emotions, and actions of youth; reinforcing, or introducing them to, a Biblical Christian worldview.

Those are incredible goals so we promise to always look to our incredible God in order to accomplish them.

If you or someone you know would like to subscribe to IM, please contact us at ###.###.####.

Information Strategies

A letter to an executive, written on behalf of conference organizers.

Note:  Names of individuals and corporations have been changed.

Dear Bob,

On behalf of all of the employees of Information Strategies, I am pleased that you’ve accepted our invitation to speak at our second annual virtualization conference in Charleston, WV.

As a Data Development premier partner, Information Strategies is at the forefront of the virtualization revolution. Our company’s pursuits in the IT virtualization environment and with Data Development are strategic. Our strategy combined with Data Development's leading technology point toward a continuance of strong growth and momentum for both of our organizations.

The goal of our event is to present our client base with a vision of the power of virtualization and a forward-looking view of its direction. We will also field questions from a robust and diverse audience that will include executives of many of West Virginia's leading enterprise organizations. Additionally, we will present in-depth information on the compelling competitive advantages of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, and the “game changing” Disaster Recovery and Business Continuance capabilities of SRM. Our clients and prospects will learn more about the latest advances in virtualization, as well as be affirmed in their decision to align with Information Strategies and the products offered.

Again, Bob, thank you. We look forward to your meaningful contributions to our event. Our intent will also be to engage you with a very limited number of executives that are in position to contribute directly to our Q4 revenue initiatives. I am confident your investment in Information Strategies will result in a valuable return by retaining and enhancing current clients’ Data Development utilization while harnessing new prospects.

I look forward to meeting you soon.

Very truly yours,

John Johnson, President
